Kettner, Amara L. age 17 of Ramsey.  Amara was born July 6, 2001 and passed away at her home Friday, June 7, 2019.  Amara was a senior at Blaine High School CEMS program and attended classes at the University of Minnesota.  Amara will be remembered by her big heart and loving personality.  She loved nature, drawing, hiking, gardening and reading.  Amara was recently awarded the President's Silver Award for Volunteerism.  She is survived by her loving parents, Kurt & Angela; brother, Austen; sister, Alyssa; grandparents, Carol Socher, Gilbert & Sheila Kettner; many other loving family and friends.  Amara is preceded in death by grandfather, Dennis Socher.  Memorial Service Monday (6/17/2019) 7 PM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover.  Visitation 2 hours prior to service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.  Amara felt things deeply.  Amara took her own life at the young age of 17.  She was loved by all.  Arrangements entrusted to Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, Andover, MN, 763-767-7373
