Alice Elaine Eliason (Wheeler), 82, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at her son Jeff's home in St. Michael, MN. She was born on March 30, 1940 in Brainerd, MN to Louis and Mayme Wheeler (Knutson).  She grew up on the family farm in Longville, MN and graduated from Longville High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mayme, her husband Ron, sister Esther Myers, and brother Louis Wheeler.  Alice is survived by her children Jeff Eliason (Lisa), Sherry Beckensten (Ken), Joel Eliason, Angela Neusinger, Gerald Eliason (Angela), Donald Eliason, 9 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild and several extended family members. Alice has lived for the past 8 years in North Fort Myers, FL where she enjoyed taking walks with her dog, talking and meeting with friends, spending time in the sun and enjoying retirement until her second battle with Cancer began.  She initially was treated for Cancer at the age of 19 with a slim chance for survival. Alice made great use of her second chance in life.  Working at different companies in a variety of positions, but devoting her true career to raising, caring for, and loving her children.  Her first marriage brought the adoption of two children, Jeff and Sherry.  Divorced and working as a single mom, she continued her passion to provide the best possible life for her kids.  In 1974, she married Ron.  Together Ron and Alice extended their family in 1982 when they adopted, Joel, Angela, Gerald and Donald.  Alice enjoyed reading, baking, crocheting, knitting and attending all her children's and grandchildren's activities.  She will be missed forever. A memorial service will be held at Thurston-Lindberg-Deshaw Funeral Home in Andover, MN on Friday August 26, 2022 with visitation at 10 am, service at 11 am and lunch to follow at Ham Lake Lanes.
