Watson, Adeline I. nee Martineau age 83  formerly of Anoka and Coon Rapids passed away November 8, 2023 at Sterling Pointe Senior Living in Princeton, Minnesota. Adeline was born on May 31,1940 in Anoka, Minnesota to her outstanding father George Martineau and mother Irene (Hagen). Preceded in death by her parents; beloved uncles Tom "Archie" , Louie, and Clarence; aunts Mandy, Ingie, and Ethel; brothers Marvin Jensen Sr., Melvin "Wimp" Jensen, George Martineau Jr., Larry Martineau, and Terry Martineau; infant sisters Eunice and Eloise; grandson Travis Rock; and former husband Lloyd Watson. Adeline raised and is survived by four children: Debra Rock, Russell (Anita), Jeffrey (Laurie), and Jonathan (Amy); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Adeline was a long-time resident of Coon Rapids, Minnesota who enjoyed planting flowers. A lifelong Elvis fan, she made the pilgrimage to Graceland in the 1990s. Later in life she worked selling pull-tabs and made friends at the Anoka Legion, where her brother Larry was the manager. She loved her children, grandchildren, friends, the City of Anoka and later in life grew to love dogs (preceded by Keith and Logan, survived by Honey.) She is loved and will be missed. A Memorial Service for Adeline will be held at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka on Tuesday November 14, 2023 beginning at 11am with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Hill Cemetery concluding with a luncheon at the American Legion.
